Billing & Insurance

InSurance & Cost of Services

I am in-network with the following  health insurance carriers in Washington State:

Regence

Aetna

First Choice

Kaiser

Premera

Lifewise

Cigna

Medicare

If I am not an in-network provider for your insurance carrier, I can provide out-of-network services (see explanation of benefits for your insurance provider for more information on out-of-network billing).

If you elect not to use health insurance, fee for service costs are listed below.

NOTE: Forensic services are not billable to insurance.

Fees by Service (if not billing in-network):

Psychotherapy Intake/Standard Diagnostic Assessment: $300/1 hour intake

Individual Psychotherapy: $225/55-minute session

Relationship Therapy: $225/55-minute session

*I have limited spots for a modest sliding fee based on household income

Comprehensive Psychological Assessment: Varies

-Comprehensive psychological assessment involves a standard clinical interview and the administration of multiple assessment instruments (usually requiring multiple hours and more than one office visit). Cost of assessment varies depending on the referral question, but usually costs between $2500-$7500. The results of the assessment will be included in a comprehensive report and a 55-minute session to provide feedback is included in the total cost. If an assessment is medically necessary, insurance may reimburse for the assessment.

Forensic Evaluation and Expert testimony: $250-$300/hr (depending on services)

-Forensic assessment is a specific type of assessment that is typically ordered by a court or requested by an attorney. Medical insurance does NOT reimburse for forensic assessment. Hourly fee for forensic assessment applies to all time spent completing an assessment, including but not limited to test administration, interview, review of records, report writing, and report feedback. Legal work such as consultation with attorneys, preparing affidavits, providing depositions (including time spent for travel and waiting to give deposition), court room testimony (including time spent for travel and waiting to testify), or any other legal work, including any for which a subpoena is served, is charged at $300.00 per hour with a three hour minimum.
